Found a wrong number

Send the page URL and what the source says. Every confirmed error becomes a dated entry in the corrections log — we publish our own mistakes rather than editing them away. If our figure disagrees with the primary source on the same observation date, that is a bug and we want it.

Using the data

The full dataset is a single CSV, free, no registration and no email gate, licensed CC BY 4.0. Attribution: “M2 Index, m2index.com”, plus the observation date of the figure you quote. Journalists and researchers: if you need a cut we do not publish — a longer history, a specific country set — ask; the raw series are already there.

What we cannot answer

We publish measurements, not advice. We do not forecast money supply, recommend investments, or interpret what a number means for a portfolio. Questions about method — how a rate is windowed, why a series carries a break — are answered in the methodology and by email.
