# Privacy and Terms Short, because the site does very little with you: it has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party scripts of any kind. ## What is stored on your device One cookie, named `theme`, holding the word `light` or `dark`. It is set only when you press the theme switch, it expires after a year, and it is never read by anyone but this page's own stylesheet. There is no other cookie and no local storage. ## What the server sees The site runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes the request — IP address, user agent, the URL — to deliver the page and to protect the origin, under its own [privacy policy](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/). We do not run analytics on top of that, do not build profiles, and do not sell or share anything. No newsletter, no email capture: the CSV downloads without asking who you are. ## Using the data Our own derived figures — growth rates, doubling times, USD conversions, rankings — are licensed [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/): use them anywhere with attribution to "M2 Index, m2index.com" and the observation date of the figure. The underlying series belong to their publishers — the IMF, the World Bank, the ECB and the Bank of Canada — and carry their own terms, named on every page that uses them. ## No warranty Every figure is published with its observation date, its source and, where it applies, a staleness or series-break flag, because those things change what the number means. Even so the data is provided as is: sources revise, and we publish those revisions in the [changelog](/changelog/) rather than overwriting quietly. Nothing here is financial advice, and it is not a basis for a trade.
